The Long Shift
Merge Mystery
A cozy merge mystery: a polar-station buffet and twelve people with a secret
Coming soon to Google PlayThe first story: Static & Snow

A polar station. The polar night. The one warm place at the edge of the map is your buffet.
Every day the same twelve people come to the counter: a mechanic, a doctor, a meteorologist, a pilot, a radio operator, a cook who forgot one small thing in a recipe. You build their orders on a merge board — snow becomes hot water, hot water becomes tea, flour becomes a pie. And between orders, they talk. From their words, from the notes the previous shift left behind, from what you hear in the radio static, one mystery takes shape: what happened at this station last year — and whose call sign still sounds in the static.
What's here
- A merge kitchenSix chains: bread, drinks, soups, sweets, meat, greens. A stove and an oven, kitchen upgrades for coins, rare items from supply drops.
- Twelve people with storiesEach has a favourite thing, their own words for you and their own piece of the truth. Gifts, trust, long talks at the counter.
- Night at the stationWhen the buffet is closed, walk the corridor: the generator room, the medbay, the radio room, the drilling site, the old wing. Every module holds the things and notes of those who were here before you.
- The radioTune the frequency — there are voices on the air that shouldn't be there.
- The evidence boardPin cards, connect them with thread, draw conclusions; the station answers the right pairs.
- The residents' councilOnce a chapter the station decides together — and lives with the outcome.
- A story with an endingSeven chapters, one winter, an honest finale. No padding.
A collection of stories

Static & Snow is the first story in The Long Shift. The collection grows: next come a train that never stops and a bunker where the lights stay on. Every story ends — and opens the next one. Your progress across stories lives on the shelf.
Honest about money
The game is free. There are ads — one purchase removes them. Money buys fuel for the kitchen, conveniences and buffet decor. Coins are not for sale: the story, the modules, the findings and the broadcasts open through play only. You can't lose a day: fuel only slows the kitchen down — it never stops the story.
Tone
Unease at night, warmth by day. No horror, no gore — a mystery you want to finish, not switch off. For players 13 and up.
